Could Hollie Steel be on your Christmas tree?
Britain's Got Talent star Hollie Steel has revealed that she is planning to release a single or an album in time for Christmas. The eleven year old, who became famous after making it through to the final of Britain's Got Talent's third series, hopes to compete against the X Factor winner in the charts. The Sun newspaper claims that the young singer has already recorded an album after school and at weekends, which has been funded by the money she
earnt on the Britain's Got Talent tour. The record is expected to be released online before the end of the year, but Hollie's mum hopes to put it in the shops, currently looking to get a producer to help them get the single or album in the shops in time for the festive season. Hollie's mum Nina Steel said: "We're doing this for her because it's what she wants to do and she's got all these songs she wants everybody to hear. It's a really special experience for an 11-year-old to go into a recording studio, but she just takes it in her stride and is still the same Hollie." At the same time the winning X Factor act will have their Christmas single out. Will Hollie stand a chance against The X Factor's winner? Britain's Got Talent continues in 2010.
